This role involves coordinating production activities and ensuring that projects are completed smoothly, on time and within budget. The position requires a blend of technical carpentry knowledge, project management skills, and strong organizational and communication capabilities.
Daily activities:
- Develop and manage project schedules, including timelines and milestones, to ensure timely completion of carpentry and woodwork projects
- Serve as the primary point of contact between carpentry teams, draftsmen, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications
- Liaise with production manager and tackle risks and mitigations - ensuring adherence to project plans, safety standards, and quality expectations while developing contingency plans for potential delays and unexpected events
- Prepare and present regular project reports, including progress updates, resource utilization, and performance metrics
- Daily follow ups, analyze and address any discrepancies on ongoing project and report any issues or disputes to management
- Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for review and auditing purposes
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including work completed, materials used, and hours worked
