Role Profile:
The Supply Chain Planner position is responsible for specific planning processes for all Item categories managed by ERMG Supply chain at various levels of granularity and time horizons.
The Supply Chain Planner maintains inventory and availability levels by utilizing the planning and replenishment system tools available, producing periodic supplier forecasts completing detailed analyses on information gathered from the supplier base, and communicating effectively across through the appropriate channels.
The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:
Create and execute an optimized Planning cycle for the Procurement team
Ensure system transactions required to support replenishment activities are completed
Manage and maintain central inventory at agreed levels to prevent excess inventory and out-of-stock situations
Produce inventory and availability updates every week with appropriate actions
Highlight potential out-of-stock or stock risks in advance and liaise with internal teams to create action plans
Manage the execution of new products into central distribution – and owns the Phase IN Phase OUT process
Create, review, and communicate supplier forecasts to agreed timescales
Creates, and reviews Supply Purchase Budget for a 3-6 months horizon, and shares with Finance for alignment
Build and enhance strong working relationships with key internal teams – Warehouse, Central Kitchen, Logistics, Procurement, Cost Control and Brand Ops
Knowledge:
Educated to University Level
Experience:
Must have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role
End to End Supply Chain experience preferably in the food industry
Comprehensive understanding of MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel
Experienced user of major replenishment planning software solutions in ERPs
