Electrical Engineer
Responsible for preparation of electrical controls for all products, support for new product development, prepares electrical items bill of materials, sourcing of electrical components. Unit testing and report preparation.
JOB OBJECTIVES
- Skills EXPERIENCE IN ELECTRICAL DESIGN & CONTROLS FOR HVAC UNITS
- Knowledge SELECTION OF ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS FOR HVAC UNITS(Packaged, split, chiller, AHU etc.)
- Review/Study the Design Criteria and Specifications of Projects
- Prepare Drawings Schedule and Study CAD and Engineering man-hours.
- Supervise CAD Operators and make sure that their work is in the right track and as per schedule.
- Design and study different proposals for projects.
- Make sure that all drawings produced for all disciplines are well coordinated.
- Coordinate with Procurement Dept. for materials selection and submittals.
- Coordinate with suppliers and approve technical proposals/shop drawings and materials.
- Review and prepare BOM.
- Capable of designing power distribution systems, power system layout, cost-effective selection of equipment, grounding and lighting system design and motor data sheets.
- Conversant with international codes viz. IEEE, NEC, API, BS, ASTM, ANSI, DIN, ISO, IEC, NEC, IEEE, NFPA, OSHA etc. for design, materials, construction and testing.
- An up-to-date knowledge of best industrial practices and software available for engineering design and detailing (ECODIAL, ETAPE etc.).
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret technical specifications.
- Ability to prepare reports, business correspondence as well as internal procedures and instructions.
Skills
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineers.
- Minimum 5 years related experience in Design and Manufacturing of HVAC Equipment.
- Member of Engineering Society
- Knowledge of relevant standard and regulation is mandatory.
