We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team in the retail industry. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting various accounting functions to ensure the financial health and compliance of our retail operations. Your expertise in accounting and attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall success of our retail business.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory accounts.

• Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring timely and accurate recording of all transactions.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance 

Skills

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the retail industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word).
