Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the storage, distribution, and inventory management operations for our Food & Beverage company in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient utilization of space and resources, maintain high standards of inventory accuracy, and manage a team of warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and distributing products.
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and policies.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy in inventory management and control.
- Ensure compliance with Kuwaiti regulations and company policies regarding health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
- Coordinate with other departments such as purchasing, logistics, and sales to ensure smooth flow of goods.
- Monitor warehouse performance metrics and generate reports for management review.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse operations.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and suppliers.
Skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, preferably in the Food & Beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse key performance indicators (KPIs) and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse team and foster a positive work environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of Kuwaiti regulations and standards related to warehouse operations.
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPIM) or Logistics.
- Experience with implementing warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices.
