 qualifications:

  • MBBS + Masters + Highest Qualification (PhD/MD/Board/Fellowship);
  • Experience not less than 15 years, 9 years after the high qualifications will get Consultant level license;
  • Experience not less than 9 years, 3 years after the high qualifications will get Specialist level license;
  • Willing to relocate to Kuwait.

Our client is looking for a Consultant Pediatric neonatologist who will be a healthcare provider who specializes in premature babies or newborns with high-risk or complex health conditions. 


main responsibilities:

  • Experience in the delivery of all levels of neonatal care to infants presenting with common neonatal problems as well as those requiring treatment of neonatal surgical conditions, congenital abnormalities and those presenting with complex needs;
  • Supervision of junior colleagues in training, sharing administrative duties and contributing to a hospital educational program;
  • Diagnose and treat newborns with conditions such as breathing disorders, infections, and birth defects;
  • Coordinate care and medically manage newborns born premature, critically ill, or in need of surgery;
  • Ensure that critically ill newborns receive the proper nutrition for healing and growth;
  • Provide care to the newborn at a cesarean or other delivery that involves medical problems in the mother or baby that may compromise the infant’s health and require medical intervention in the delivery room;
  • Stabilize and treat newborns with any life-threatening medical problems;
  • Consult with obstetricians, pediatricians, and family physicians about conditions affecting newborn infants.
