An Ecommerce Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the online sales channels of a business. They are responsible for driving revenue and increasing customer engagement through various ecommerce platforms. The Ecommerce Specialist will be responsible for managing the website, ensuring the products are accurately listed and optimized for search engines, and analyzing data to identify opportunities for growth. Additionally, they will be responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies to increase traffic and conversions on the website.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and optimize the ecommerce website, ensuring that product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines.
  2. Analyze website data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  3. Create and implement marketing strategies to increase website traffic and conversions.
  4. Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and execute online advertising campaigns.
  5. Monitor and respond to customer reviews and inquiries on the website and social media platforms.
  6. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the website is functioning properly and troubleshoot any technical issues.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in ecommerce and online marketing.
  8. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of ecommerce initiatives.
  9. Research and identify new platforms and technologies to enhance the ecommerce experience.
  10. Assist with inventory management and product sourcing for the ecommerce platform.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Previous experience in ecommerce management or a related field.
  2. Strong knowledge of ecommerce platforms and technologies.
  3. Proficient in web analytics tools and able to interpret data to drive decision-making.
  4. Excellent understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  5. Experience with online advertising platforms, such as Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  10. Passion for ecommerce and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
