Sales Engineer

As a Sales Engineer at our company in Kuwait, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our sales team to ensure successful customer engagement and satisfaction. Your primary focus will be on understanding customer needs, presenting our products and solutions, and effectively communicating the value proposition to potential clients. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the sales process.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify new sales opportunities.
  2. Act as a technical expert and consultant to clients, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
  3. Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to potential clients.
  4. Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical training to customers as needed.
  5. Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to provide feedback and insights from the field to drive product improvements and enhancements.
  6. Provide post-sales support and technical assistance to customers, ensuring their satisfaction and resolving any issues or concerns.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, as well as competitor offerings.
  8. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans.
  9. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and target markets.
  10. Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in technical sales or sales engineering.
  3. Strong technical background and understanding of engineering principles.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  6. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  7. Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong drive for results.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  10. Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
