Strategy Formulation

  • Develop the Fleet Management Department’s strategic objectives and KPIs and ensure all employees are working towards achievement of these objectives. Review the operating results of the Fleet management Department and follow-up to ensure appropriate measures are taken to correct insufficient results

Budget and Cost Control

  • Develop the Fleet management Department’s annual budget and ensure all employees are working within the assigned budget by setting the required targets and responsibilities.

Policies and Procedures

  •  Implement the Fleet management Department’s policies and the set procedures in order to achieve the Fleet management Department’s objectives.
  • Communicate and discuss the Fleet management Department’s guidelines and procedures with employees to ensure responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities are defined and understood.

Fleet Management

 

  •  Manage, analyze and review the investigations/ market surveys conducted by subordinates in order to gather information regarding the selling/ leasing prices offered by dealers.
  •  Keep up to date with current market vehicles’ prices by surveying local selling/ leasing rates.
  •  Oversee inbound/ outbound logistics operations, such as transportation, safety performance, or logistics quality management.
  •  
  • Manage and monitor Qatar Fleet Management activities and ensure the compliance of the same with The Bridge Co.’s set procedures, rules and regulations.
  •  Analyze and utilize all fleet information and user surveys to forecast new requirements.
  •  Select the most suitable offer, presented by dealers, according to clients’ vehicle specifications.
  •  Review purchase orders/ Delivery Notes prior to submission to dealers and Finance Department.
  •  Ensure fleet availability to meet all clients’ requests by scheduling, forecasting and surveying current clients’ trends.
  •  
  • Ensure vehicle registration, insurance and documentation regarding induction of new vehicles in existing fleet.
  •  
  • Oversee data management system to organize fleets as per various schedules and requests.
  •  Monitor the maintenance of an up to date and secured database including documents related to sales, registration, inspections and maintenance of fleet vehicles.
  •  Develop and implement standard operational standards to maintain vehicles by advocating best practices in the industry.
  •  
  • Plan, process and execute vehicle purchase and vehicle replacement through efficient settlement.
  •  Oversee vehicle deliveries to ensure proper prepping, tagging, and numbering is conducted, new vehicles are inspected and an ID Control Stickers is applied to prepare them for contracted service.
  •  In coordination with the warehouse manager/workshop:

  • Oversee activities related to utilization, repair, preventative maintenance and replacement of the vehicle fleet.
  •  
  • Authorize requisitions for parts, supplies and equipment in; as well as, oversee automotive damage repairs and all activities related to the mechanical repairs and maintenance of fleet vehicles to obtain maximum utilization of fleet and prevent operational delays.
  •  Ensure that routine and ad hoc cleaning, fueling, insurance, repair, and maintenance activities are implemented, new vehicles are obtained and old vehicles are renewed.
  •  Guide and assist subordinates whenever required to ensure smooth workflow of operations.
  •  Ensure that all clients experience outstanding customer service and are served in a responsive, friendly and courteous manner with the highest service quality at all times to ensure customers satisfaction, high service caliber and efficient operations.
  •  Maintain a solid relationship with current clients and attract new clients in order to increase The Bridge Co.’s client database and profitability.
  •  Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Management.

Educational Qualification


-Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

 

- Master Degree in Business administration would be an advantage.


Work Experience


-Minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in the same or related field.
