Position Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Creative Copywriter to write clear and concise copy for ads, social media posts and blogs and websites. Your words will inform and engage different target audiences.

Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled and imaginative writer with an eye for detail. Has the ability to work with the art directors to grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insights that can help the overall outcome of the communication.

The position will involve reporting directly to our Creative Director and work closely with him to fulfill the requirements from our clients.

Essential Job Roles:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Write clear, attractive copy in Arabic and English with a distinct tone of voice that is predefined in the brief
• Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
• Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. From Advertising campaigns & social media posts to email campaigns and landing pages)
• Conduct high-quality research and interviews on specific topics when requested to prepare specific content accordingly
• Edit and proofread copy as needed
• Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach

Skills

Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required

·       Proven experience as a copywriter

·       Knowledge of online content creation

·       Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in both Arabic and English

·       Creative thinking, witty and has the courage to present out of the box ideas

·       Good Communication skills – presentation, written as well as verbal

·       Collaborative spirit and a team player mentality, the position will require the ability to work effectively with other team members and to also interact with different clients from different industries

·       Ability to multitask and co-ordinate projects with good time management
