The Specialist – Digital & Social Media is responsible for managing the development and execution of all Digital Marketing plans and campaigns for the Company’s Business Lines and ensure they are running efficiently in line with the business objectives and the targeted audience. Strategy Formulation

  • Support in the development of the Marketing Strategy in line with the Company’s strategic directions.
  • Support in the development of the objectives and KPIs for the unit, review, and monitor the operating results, and ensure that appropriate measures are in place to achieve targeted objectives and reduce risk.
Budget and Cost Control
  • Support in the development of the annual budget for the unit.
Policies & Procedures
  • Implement and follow the policies and procedures in order to achieve the desired objectives.
Digital & Social Media Activities
  • Manage the development and execution of the Company’s Digital Marketing and Social Media plans, advise on improvements and amendments, and ensure it is in line with the Company’s strategy and business objectives in order to achieve external/internal business objectives.
  • Manage the utilization of Social Media platforms to manage online content in order to ensure proper and timely application of content plans.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate implementation of the content plan in accordance with the agreed-upon timeline.
  • Monitor the progress of social media campaigns from conceptualization stage to implementation to ensure that all requirements are met through careful analyzing of data to determine the level of objectives achievement of the same.
  • Maintain and acquire strategic relationships with influencers, professionals, partners and key industry vendors to boost recognition and build high brand trust and awareness.
  • Monitor the Company’s online communities and online presence to ensure respectful and appropriate engagement.
  • Manage the creation of the Company’s social media pages, profiles or accounts whenever deemed necessary.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the Heads of Business Lines to comprehend their overarching business plans, targets, and objectives to facilitate the achievement of the short-term and long-term goals. Additionally, collaborate to strategically promote new products, business lines, or services as per the defined plan.
  • Participate in suggesting trainings to employees and come up with methods to keep them abreast on the latest social media best practices and technologies and optimal consumer attraction tips through attending educational conferences, online courses, and training etc.
  • Ensure conducting research on innovative ideas and concepts to be implemented at the Company’s social media content.
  • Manage the collaboration and communications with all related business lines in order to enhance the reputation, identify key players, and ensure accurate material and smooth running of the Company’s social media advertising campaigns.
  • Review and verify periodic written and visual content for all social media campaigns and advise on improvements of the same in order to ensure high-quality content that attracts community members and build trust around the business lines.
  • Monitor and advise on methods to optimize the Business Lines accounts / pages / profiles within each social media platform to increase the visibility of the Company’s social media content.
  • Review and verify the social media content created through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification, capturing and analyzing the relevant social data, insights, and best practices, and then communicating proper information to ensure maximum benefit to the Company.
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user-generated content surrounding the Company and escalate notable threats to the Head of Strategy Management.
  • Resolve negative reviews and news received through social media network that are escalated by the employees and coach employees on best practices of handling the same.
  • Perform ad-hoc and other duties related to the job as assigned by the Direct Manager.
People Management
  • Support in identifying the manpower requirements are met in line with the Company’s annual manpower plan.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals and approve subordinates’ performance appraisal results, salary increments, and promotions, when required.
  • Participate in preparing the employees’ annual development plans to maximize the performance and ensure successful achievement of objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation of the training & development initiatives and ensure the effectiveness of the same in achieving required objectives.
Skills Qualifications and Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or any related field.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration is preferred.
  • Digital Marketing, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) certification is preferable.
Professional Work Experience
  • Minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience in the same or related field.
  • Previous experience in the same industry is preferred.
Language Skills Required
  • Proficient in English and Arabic
