Job description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Services Senior Engineer for an exciting opportunity based in Shuaiba, Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in technical operations, project execution, and facility management within a plastic manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for overseeing manufacturing equipment, optimizing production processes, managing facility-related projects, ensuring compliance with operational standards, and coordinating with government authorities regarding facility requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing machinery, process improvement, audits, and industrial facility management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects from planning through execution, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Oversee the maintenance, performance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
• Manage facility operations, ensuring infrastructure and utilities support efficient manufacturing activities.
• Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular process audits to ensure compliance with established procedures, quality standards, and operational requirements.
• Identify process gaps, recommend corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Liaise with government authorities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and obtain necessary approvals.
• Support health, safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance initiatives across the facility.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to resolve technical issues and improve plant performance.
• Prepare technical reports, project updates, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.
• Participate in equipment upgrades, facility expansion projects, and capital investment initiatives. 

Skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in technical services, engineering, maintenance, or facility management within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in plastic manufacturing or a similar process industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing machinery, industrial utilities, and production processes.
