The Business Systems & ERP Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day support, coordination, and enhancement of Kana Group’s ERP (Odoo) system and related business applications.


The role focuses on hands-on system support, requirement gathering, issue resolution, and coordination with vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring that business systems effectively support Finance, HR, Operations, Retail, and Medical entities across the group.


This is a delivery-focused, mid-career role with no administrative or people-management responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities:


1. ERP (Odoo) Support & Operations

  • Provide functional support for the Odoo ERP system across all Kana Group entities.
  • Handle daily system issues, user requests, and functional troubleshooting.
  • Support system configuration and approved enhancements.
  • Assist with system testing, UAT, and deployment of new features.
  • Monitor data accuracy and proper system usage.


2. Business Systems Support

  • Support other enterprise systems (HR systems, payroll, attendance, POS, CRM, reporting tools).
  • Ensure smooth data flow and coordination between ERP and connected systems.
  • Track and follow up on system incidents and enhancements with vendors.
  • Assist in basic integration validation and data consistency checks.


3. Business Requirements & Process Support

  • Gather and document business requirements from users.
  • Translate operational needs into structured system change requests.
  • Support process mapping and workflow optimization initiatives.
  • Assist in aligning system usage with approved business processes.

4. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Coordinate with ERP vendors, developers, and system providers.
  • Follow up on tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Support user acceptance testing and post-deployment validation.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the line manager when required.


5. Reporting & Data Support

  • Support standard ERP and system reports.
  • Assist Finance and HR teams with data extraction and validation.
  • Support audit and reconciliation data requests.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems.


6. User Support & Documentation

  • Provide user support during system rollouts and enhancements.
  • Prepare basic user guides, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Conduct system walkthroughs and refresher sessions when needed.
  • Promote correct system usage and best practices.

Skills

Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business IT, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of experience in ERP or business systems support.
  • Practical experience with Odoo ERP (functional support or implementation).
  • Exposure to Finance, HR, Procurement, or Operations systems.
  • Experience working with vendors or system integrators is an advantage.

  • Ability to document requirements and processes clearly.
  • Basic understanding of system integrations and data flows.
