Generate and manage sales for electrical projects by developing business opportunities, preparing technical and commercial proposals, securing project awards, and maintaining strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders in order to achieve sales targets and support the company’s growth objectives.
The position contributes directly to revenue growth and market expansion by identifying new project opportunities, supporting tendering activities, and managing assigned accounts. The role supports the company’s strategic objectives by strengthening its presence in the electrical projects market and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective coordination and project follow-up.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive sales for all electrical products (LV switchgear, busducts, Earthing, lighting, wiring devices, etc.).
- Identify and develop opportunities with contractors, consultants, EPCs, and end-users.
- Review project specifications and provide suitable technical solutions and proposals.
- Prepare accurate BOQs, quotations, and technical/commercial submissions.
- Follow up on tenders, approvals, and project awards.
- Build strong relationships with VIP consultancy offices, VVIP clients, and major Kuwaiti ministries.
- Coordinate internally to ensure smooth order processing and timely deliveries.
- Conduct site visits to support project execution and resolve issues.
- Monitor market trends and maintain updated sales forecasts and reports.
- Support product development, identify market needs, introduce new product lines, and establish new strategic relationships with suppliers and partners.
Skills
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical project sales in Kuwait.
- Strong exposure to LV/MV switchgear, busducts, and related electrical products.
- Experience in handling government, industrial, and large construction projects.
- Training in sales, negotiation, and technical product applications.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
- Commercial awareness and pricing strategy knowledge.
- Strong planning, reporting, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
