We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tenders Engineer to join our dynamic team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the preparation, submission, and management of tender documents for various projects. This position requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, project management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. The Senior Tenders Engineer will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, preparing comprehensive bids, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and client requirements. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze and interpret project specifications and requirements to prepare accurate and competitive tender submissions.
2. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather necessary information for bid preparation.
3. Develop detailed cost estimates and pricing strategies to enhance bid competitiveness while ensuring profitability.
4. Prepare and review tender documents, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and client specifications.
5. Manage the tendering process from initiation to submission, including timelines, deliverables, and communication with stakeholders.
6. Participate in pre-bid meetings and discussions with clients to clarify requirements and expectations.
7. Monitor and evaluate competitor activities and market trends to inform bidding strategies.
8. Provide post-tender support, including clarifications and negotiations with clients.
9. Maintain a comprehensive database of past tenders and outcomes to inform future bidding strategies.
10. Support continuous improvement initiatives within the tendering process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience in tender management within the engineering or construction sectors, with a strong portfolio of successful bids.
2. Good working knowledge & previous experience with Substation & Overhead Transmission Line tenders.
3. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical documents.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with clients and team members.
5. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and compliance in all tender submissions.
6. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
7. Proficient in using tender management software and tools to streamline the bidding process.
8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
9. A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks associated with the tendering process.
10. Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualifications, with additional certifications in project management being a plus.
