MEP Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to join our dynamic team at our Training & Education Center in Al Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects, ensuring that all operations meet quality standards and are completed within budget and on time.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage MEP projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and specifications.
  2. Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, ensuring that all work is performed according to established standards and regulations.
  3. Prepare and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  4. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
  5. Oversee procurement processes, including the selection and management of subcontractors and suppliers.
  6. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability throughout the project.
  7. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  8. Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience 10 years minimum as an MEP Project Manager, with a strong portfolio of successfully completed projects.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Project Management: Expertise in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget constraints, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • MEP Systems Knowledge: In-depth understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including design, installation, and maintenance practices.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage with clients, team members, and stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in project updates.
  • PMP certified
  • Risk Management: Proficient in identifying potential risks and developing contingency plans to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering collaboration and a positive working environment that drives project success.
