Project Engineering Manager
- Experience level –15+ Years in Oil and Gas sector
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Civil Engineering. Approval from Kuwait Engineering Society will be added advantage
- Hands-on engineering professional having experience in designing within the Oil & Gas industry, especially developing of tank terminals, process units and Plants Strong technical expertise in engineering principles, practices and methodologies
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve project goals
- Coordinates a team of specialized engineers of different disciplines, following up on the engineering
- Supports the Engineering team in coordinating with the QA/QC Manager for the Quality compliance
- Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and objectives
- Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential engineering-related risks Collecting and coordinating input/feedback/findings from various disciplines Conducts surveys for the development of new facilities, review of PFDs, floating inquiries, technical discussions with client, contractors, scope finalization,
- preparation of contract specifications, etc.
- Liaises with sub-consultants, contractors, and external agencies for determining technical specifications, approvals and obtaining statutory clearances Monitors Engineering of all phases of various project activities Coordinates multi-discipline activities, handling contractors / vendors to maintain deadlines
- Reviews and approves drawings and relevant documents and hosts project review meetings for evaluating progress Monitors projects with respect to Cost,
- Resource Deployment, Time over-runs, and Compliance to HSSE & Quality requirements
