Responsible for leading the sales efforts and marketing strategies for pharmaceutical products, driving revenue growth, managing key customer relationships, and overseeing a team of representatives. Sales Management and Execution

  • Directly engage in selling activities to promote pharmaceutical products to private sector entities.
  • Monitor and drive sales performance across private hospitals and pharmacies, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Manage business relations with key customers, overseeing the sales service process to increase customer retention and satisfaction levels.


Stock Management

  • Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure proper stock levels are maintained, aligning inventory with sales forecasts and market demand.
  • Manage stock issues related to aging, returns, and expiry, implementing strategies to minimize losses and enhance profitability.


Sales Operations

  • Oversee all sales operations, ensuring alignment with the division’s strategic goals and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Supervise the processing of customers’ orders and the provision of sales services to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Generate and analyze sales reports to track performance by account and by representative, making data-driven decisions to optimize sales.


Team Management and Development

  • Manage a team of sales and medical representatives, providing training and guidance to enhance their selling skills and product knowledge.
  • Conduct regular field visits, including shadowing and double visits, to assess and improve the team's selling techniques and customer engagement strategies.
  • Set clear sales targets and performance metrics for the team, closely monitoring achievement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Foster a competitive and motivated team environment to drive sales growth and market penetration for products.
  • Conduct annual performance appraisals for the sales team and address all areas of improvement.


Marketing Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our brands and drive qualified traffic to our front door.
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors.
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely.
  • Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures.
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.
  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust email and advertising campaigns accordingly.
