We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a focus on managing and reconciling accounts receivable. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate payment collections, as well as maintaining positive relationships with clients and customers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment collections, and account reconciliations.
  2. Monitor and track outstanding customer balances, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of any discrepancies or issues.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and customer service, to resolve billing or collection disputes and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  4. Prepare and analyze monthly aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and develop strategies for collection.
  5. Process credit card payments and reconcile credit card transactions.
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to accounts receivable.
  7. Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate recording and reporting of revenue and accounts receivable.
  8. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in accounts receivable management.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related role.
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  4. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  10. Experience in the private sector or relevant industry is a plus.
