Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mechanical systems and components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects and provide technical expertise in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop mechanical systems and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
  3. Conduct feasibility studies and perform calculations to determine the best design approach.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  5. Perform tests and simulations to validate designs and identify any potential issues.
  6. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
  7. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the design and manufacturing process.
  8. Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and incorporate them into design processes.
  9. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  10. Prepare and present technical reports and proposals to clients and stakeholders.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in the construction or manufacturing industry.
  3. In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
  4. Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  8. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  9. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  10. Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.

Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and design principles.
  • Experience with plumbing and fire protection systems.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards, such as ASME, ANSI, and NFPA.
  • Ability to perform engineering calculations and simulations.
