For more information, visit Worley.com Position: Head of Cost Control Engineering (Expats) Primary Objective: Coordinate and oversee cost analysis activities for major complex projects, ensuring accuracy and quality of project cost reports. Establish liaison with project management and clients on cost control matters and provide guidance to the team. Specific Accountabilities:

• Set priorities for complex situations with multi-project and organizational impact.
• Collaborate with Worley Corporate and Client accounting groups to establish project cost control methodology.
• Develop, implement, and manage project accounting and job costing systems.
• Ensure integrity of processed data and provide technical guidance to staff.
• Liaise with clients to address cost-related issues and prepare timely invoices.
• Manage change management processes and financial reporting.
• Implement financial controls, including expenditure authorizations and cash flow projections.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams for budget preparation.
• Facilitate coordination among team members for cost, planning, and procurement matters.
• Ensure quality practices and continuous improvement processes.
• Lead and develop a skilled Cost Control team through training and innovation.
• Provide guidance to Asset and Project Cost Controllers.
• Maintain communication with other cost and project control personnel.
• Monitor cost control applications to uphold project data integrity.
• Provide ad-hoc cost control support and advice to project management.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and Safety procedures.

• The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or an Engineering qualification or equivalent experience in engineering / construction or ill be a Chartered Accountant or CPA
• Experience in cost and project control computer applications.
• Proficiency in cost risk analysis.
• Prioritize budgets, time management, and resource allocation.
• Familiarity with industry-standard practices in cost control activities.
• Relevant estimating experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of project management systems interfaces (e.g., SAP, SQL).
• Commitment to HSE management in a project environment.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
