Regularly analyze the costs of the company's products, services, projects, or activities, including direct and indirect costs, fixed and variable costs, and identifying trends or areas for cost reduction.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, comparing actual costs to budgeted/forecasted figures.
Control the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Process.
Work with different departments to implement cost control measures and efficiency improvements.
Analyze the impact of cost changes on product pricing and overall profitability
Conduct internal audits of financial procedures and policies to ensure cost control measures are followed.
Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend improvements. Work with other teams to streamline operations and reduce costs without sacrificing quality
Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related
Certified Cost Analyst or CPA is highly desirable
At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role and industry.
Bilingual (Arabic/English speaker) is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in SAP/ BI / Power BI or other similar tools is an asset.
Advanced usage of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
In-depth knowledge of financial principles and cost accounting standards.
Knowledge of ABC costing & ABC tools
Strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work well under pressure
