We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 9 years of experience in the field, with a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of instrumentation and control engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement instrumentation and control systems for various projects.
2. Conduct detailed analysis and testing of existing systems to identify any issues or areas for improvement.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of instrumentation and control systems.
4. Oversee the installation and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
5. Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise for instrumentation and control systems.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of all instrumentation and control systems, including drawings, schematics, and manuals.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in instrumentation and control engineering.
8. Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
9. Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source and procure necessary equipment and components.
10. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards in the design and implementation of instrumentation and control systems.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining instrumentation and control systems.
3. Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to instrumentation and control engineering.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
8. Experience with PLC programming and SCADA systems.
9. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering software.
10. Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.

• Good experience in GE control system MARK VIe.
• Good experience in GE gas turbines Frame 9 FA.
• Good experience in GE steam turbines D11.
• Good experience in PLC such as Siemens S7, Allen Bradley, Bentley Nevada systems.
• Good experience in BOP such as Heat Recovery Steam Generator HRSG, Fuel Gas Compressors, DEMIN, Air compressors,….etc.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control engineering principles
• Proficiency in PLC programming and SCADA systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
