  • Identify training needs and requirements for all levels of staff, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and management.
  • Develop and deliver ongoing training programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  • Implement and deliver effective training programs to new hires and existing employees, ensuring consistency and quality in training delivery.
  • Conduct training sessions on topics such as customer service, food safety and hygiene, product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational procedures.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to employees to reinforce training concepts and ensure continued skill development.
  • Maintain accurate training records, including attendance, evaluations, and certifications.
  • Present reports to senior management to demonstrate the impact of training initiatives on employee performance, customer satisfaction, and overall operational success.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development by promoting training initiatives and encouraging employee participation.
  • Utilize diverse training methods (e.g., lectures, demonstrations, role-playing, e-learning) to cater to different learning styles.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify specific training needs within their teams and tailor training programs accordingly.
  • Solicit feedback from employees to assess the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • In addition to the above responsibilities, fulfill any reasonable training-related tasks or requests assigned by line managers, ensuring they align with organizational training goals and policies.

Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a training or development role, preferably within the restaurant industry.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English, with strong reading and speaking skills in both languages.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, customer service, and training methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey information effectively to the employees.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire others, provide constructive feedback, and foster a positive learning environment.
  • Proficiency in using training software, learning management systems, and multimedia tools.
  • Previous experience in managing training batches, demonstrating effective organization and oversight of training sessions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and adept at utilizing these tools for data analysis, documentation, and creating engaging presentations.
