Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:
Project Contract Document Study:
- Thoroughly review project contract documents, including time schedules, design drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Ensure a clear understanding of project requirements and specifications.
Shop Drawing Log Management:
- Update the shop drawing log with relevant information before submitting drawings to the consultant for approval.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with project design and specifications in all electrical shop drawings.
Request for Information (RFI) Preparation:
- Identify and prepare RFIs for any missing, unclear, or conflicting technical information during construction.
- Coordinate the resolution of technical matters with the project consultant.
Sub-Contractor and Outsourced Shop Drawing Review:
- Review shop drawings submitted by subcontractors and external vendors.
- Coordinate the approval process with the project consultant, addressing any discrepancies or concerns.
Technical Issue Resolution:
- Participate in resolving unexpected technical difficulties and problems that may arise during construction.
- Report issues to the Technical Office Manager for discussion and implementation of proper solutions.
As-Built Drawings:
- Prepare accurate as-built drawings at the conclusion of the project.
- Hand over completed drawings to the project consultant for record-keeping.
Compliance and Standard Adherence:
- Ensure that all work complies with project standards, industry codes, specifications, and design instructions.
- Conduct regular checks to confirm adherence to established guidelines.
Construction Detail Preparation:
- Prepare detailed drawings required for all electrical construction items, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
Coordination with Different Disciplines:
- Collaborate with other disciplines, including MEP teams.
- Ensure coordination and integration of structural/architectural drawings with drawings from other disciplines.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering. (Accumulative Grade must not be less than Good).4 - 6 years of experience in architectural shop drawings, with a focus on medical mega projects.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
