Restaurant Manager

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in Kuwait. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and maximizing profitability. You will also be responsible for managing and training staff, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
  2. Ensure excellent customer service by training and supervising staff, handling customer complaints, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  3. Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers, including social media campaigns, promotions, and special events.
  4. Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages, ensuring high quality and consistency.
  5. Monitor and control costs, including food and beverage costs, labor costs, and overall expenses, to maximize profitability.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe environment by implementing and enforcing health and safety standards.
  7. Recruit, train, and mentor staff, providing ongoing feedback and development opportunities to ensure high performance and employee satisfaction.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role in the food and beverage industry.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
  4. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and maximizing profitability.
  5. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  7. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software.
