This is a full-time on-site role for a Projects Controls Manager located in Kuwait City. As a Projects Control Manager you will oversee and manage all aspects of project control activities to ensure the successful execution of the projects. Leveraging your expertise in project management and construction scheduling, you will develop and implement project control processes, monitor project progress, and mitigate risks to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project controls or project management roles within the oil and gas construction industry.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex project data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of construction project management processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with relevant construction industry standards, regulations, and codes.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders.
• Utilize project management software to create and maintain detailed schedules, including critical path analysis, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
• Collaborate with project managers and cost estimators to develop project budgets and cost forecasts.
• Monitor project expenditures and track costs against budget throughout the project lifecycle, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Identify potential risks and uncertainties that may impact project delivery, including schedule delays, budget overruns, and resource constraints.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address identified risks and minimize their impact on project outcomes.
• Implement project control systems and processes to monitor project progress, performance, and compliance with project requirements.
• Generate regular progress reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for project stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.
• Manage change control processes to assess the impact of proposed changes on project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with project teams to evaluate change requests, negotiate modifications, and ensure proper documentation and approval of changes.
• Allocate and optimize project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to support project objectives and meet project deadlines.
• Organize and chair project meetings, including progress review meetings, change control meetings, and risk management workshops.
