The Senior Bids Specialist will be responsible for the development of proposals (in Arabic and English) to respond to RFPs provided by Client. The candidate is expected to have 10 years of experience in proposal preparation for an A/E Consultant and have hands on experience and knowledge on the design process and bid life cycle.
Responsibilities will also include -
- Review of RFP
- Prepare Synopsis of the RFP to support Country Director, Director of Development and Proposals Manager to decide on Go - No GO
- Prepare Story board for review by Proposals Manager
- Capture all elements that needs to be priced (Prepare Checklist)
- Identify requirements of Specialist Consultants and obtain quotes and coordinate
- Prepare Technical Proposal -Coordinate with KSA team / Centre of Excellence Kuwait
- Prepare Financial Proposal (incoordination with Country Director, Director of Development and Proposals Manager)
- Coordinate Printing & Delivery (Logistics of submission)
- Post Submission queries, clarification and presentation
- Proposal handover to Operations -Proposal updates and reports for Country Director
Skills
- Experience of 10 years in preparing proposals for similar A/E Consultants Knowledge in Design & Construction Process (eg: RIBA)
- Knowledge in full Bid Life cycle (RFP, Preparation of Technical Proposal, Preparation of Financial Proposal, Post Tender Clarification, Contract Support)
- Read and write fluently in both English and Arabic (Technical terminology should be accurate while preparing proposals in Arabic)
- Proficient in MS Office in particular Word, Excel, Power Point (Adobe In Design will be an added advantage)
