Shift Manager

We are hiring for a role in Kuwait. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our casual dining restaurant during your assigned shifts. You will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of employees, maintaining high-quality customer service, and upholding the restaurant's standards and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Responding to Customer Complaints: • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally to ensure customer satisfaction. Leading Meetings and Fostering Openness: • Lead team meetings to discuss daily operations, address concerns, and encourage an open and collaborative work environment. • Facilitate group decision-making processes where all participants feel involved and take ownership of decisions. Customer Interaction: • Meet and greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner. • Assist with organizing table reservations and seating arrangements. • Provide guidance to customers on menu selections and answer any inquiries they may have. Team Communication: • Ensure that all team members are aware of and follow operational instructions and procedures. • Maintain clear and consistent communication between the restaurant and other outlets. Quality Standards: • Monitor and ensure that the set standards of service quality, cleanliness, and hygiene are maintained at all times. • Ensure that staff members perform their duties according to their respective job descriptions and adhere to time schedules. Cash Handling: • Prepare cash drawers at the beginning of shifts and conduct spot checks throughout the shift to maintain accuracy. Qualifications and Skills: • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the restaurant industry is preferred. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong leadership and team management abilities. • Familiarity with restaurant operations and procedures. • Ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively. • Basic knowledge of cash handling and POS systems is an advantage. • Lebanese candidates are preferable #J-18808-Ljbffr
