Visual Merchandiser ( Perfume and Cosmetics)

  • Responsible for all promotional displays, supporting promotions tools and merchandising fixtures at the point of sale, with the objective to ensure that the companies brand image is at its best and properly maintained within the guidelines issued by the head office and operations team. Deliver Visual Merchandising display, animation in case required and Pop-in projects following guidance from all aspects. Generating and communicating seasonal visual strategies that bring the design and merchandising vision to life on the floor; Understanding product story/collection; present a refreshing and dynamic shop thru deliver compelling product display combination in store, and ultimately support sustainable business growth in retail business.

RESPOSIBILITIES

  1. To implement display and promotional guidelines in line with the Company’s rules within the marketing calendar of the division.
  2. Design management and project execution, from windows to campaign and events.
  3. Be the Storyteller of for a range of high standard in-store display, including communications and delivering its vitality.
  4. To assist in the implementation of promotional stations, podium and show windows.
  5. To educate the sales consultants to become capable of merchandising products and promotional decoration kits properly and attractively following the guidelines.
  6. To handle the forecasting and distribution of the products to the POS, and consequently manage and be accountable for the promotional budget determined by the Marketing team.
  7. To ensure that the planograms are implemented at the POS.
  8. Weekly checking to find solutions in case of problems and coordination with the Brand team.
  9. To implement campaign promotional guidelines for:
  10. Promotional Areas.
  11. Counter Decoration.
  12. issue qualitative reports on your local executions (pictures and comments) for local reporting.
  13. To educate the staff and to dispatch the necessary information to the counter staff.
  14. Manage merchandising budget.
  15. Assessment of the merchandising tools implemented creating best practices to be shared across the organization.
  16. To be aware of the display from the competitors.

Skills

Education

·      Visual Merchandising degree or diploma an asset.

Knowledge

·      Significant experience in the industry

·      Highly developed artistic, sense of style and trend knowledge.

·      Proven ability to lead and work effectively through others.

·      Passion for the shopping experience and visual merchandising.

  • Willingness to travel (domestic and international) and work on the retail floor.

Experience:

·      3-5 years of experience in visual merchandising, merchandising or brand story telling role.

Awareness

·      Proficient in design software Photoshop, illustrator, and office software will be an advantage.

·      Experience in using AutoCad, 3D Max is a plus.

·      Both VM hands-on and training skill preferred.
