Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Identify required materials for the maintenance of equipment and electrical control systems and their specifications, and estimate their quantities according to the approved user manuals from manufacturers.
  • Prepare the necessary tools, equipment, materials, and instruments for inspection, installation, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Install and replace electrical spare parts and repair electrical faults.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults in equipment and control systems.
  • Replace defective electrical equipment and components when required.
  • Install and connect electrical wiring and provide electrical connections for equipment and machinery.
  • Read and interpret electrical, technical, and equipment diagrams.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical and electronic circuits, equipment, and control systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including standard spare parts replacement and consumption intervals.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the availability of required spare parts.
  • Coordinate with mechanical maintenance technicians and other teams involved in maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company health, safety, and occupational safety standards and procedures.
  • Follow approved equipment operation and electrical maintenance procedures and technical supervisor instructions.
  • Prepare periodic reports on equipment condition, maintenance activities, and upcoming maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory and prepare proactive requests for frequently consumed parts.
  • Verify spare parts specifications and ensure the use of genuine parts to maintain equipment efficiency and reliability.
  • Record maintenance observations and discuss them with the technical supervisor to improve maintenance efficiency.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and developments in equipment maintenance and electrical control systems.
  • Perform any other duties related to the role as assigned by the supervisor.
