The Marketing Officer (Events) plays a pivotal role in planning, executing, and managing events that promote our brand and engage our target audience. This position requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who can work collaboratively with various teams to ensure the success of marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of event management, marketing strategies, and excellent communication skills. This role is essential for enhancing our company's visibility and fostering relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Support the marketing director in the execution of marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with the creative department and the social media officer to ensure event artworks and social media coverage are aligned.
- Organize events and exhibitions to showcase the brand effectively.
- Develop and manage rental venues to optimize event experiences.
- Oversee event planning, design, and production while managing all project delivery elements within time limits in coordination with the graphic designer and production officer.
- Provide feedback and periodic reports to assess event performance.
- Propose ideas to improve provided services and enhance event quality.
- Organize facilities and manage all event details such as décor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, and promotional materials.
- Cooperate with social media teams to promote and publicize events effectively.
- Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot problems on the event day.
- Conduct pre- and post-event evaluations and report on outcomes to inform future planning.
- Research the market, identify event opportunities, and generate interest among target audiences.
