MIEC Technical Responsibilities:
o Review documentation both EPCIC and projects and provide feedback in a timely
manner.
o Coordinate and validate the quality and compliance of Electrical documents required for
the completion of Maintenance deliverables in the EDMS.
o Participate to 3D model reviews, ensure that maintainability aspects, maintenance
access and handling requirements are properly addressed during Detailed Engineering.
o Contribute to the development of new or updating of Electrical standards.
o Participation in criticality reviews, RBM studies or equivalent to ensure Electrical related
Maintenance requirements are properly addressed.
o Review and validate the Electrical Maintenance Work Instructions.
o Guarantee the quality of the technical description for all Electrical spare parts,
commissioning/start up, capital and operational ensuring purchase requisition.
specification and relevant certification are correct.
o Provide technical clarification for the procurement of Electrical spare parts as required.
o Participate to the review of the Maintenance dossiers prepared by the MIE Contractors.
• Project Responsibilities:
o Provide support as required to commissioning activities,
o Facilitate efficient communication/information flow with Head of Maintenance and
Inspection Engineering, Project team, stakeholders and client’s Maintenance department,
o Attend FAT/SAT as required by project/company.
o Ad-hoc activities as required by line manager,
o All staff must be willing to participate in Crisis Response Training and to assist during
Emergency Response Situations if required.
Skills
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering.
Minimum Experience:
• 8 to 10 years’ experience in the petrochemical, refining, oil & gas exploration & production or similar
industry in Electrical Engineering role.
• Previous experience in the supervision of Maintenance Engineering activities within a project team.
The purpose of the Job is to guarantee that the Electrical part of all Maintenance & Inspection Engineering
(MIE) Contractor deliverables are aligned with FOPS Maintenance team requirements.
As such, the job holder is accountable:
• Responsible for the review of all Maintenance and Spare Parts deliverables related to Electrical
issued by the MIE Projects Contractors,
• Ensure the compliance of Electrical activities with Client’s specifications/standards,
• In charge of the training and monitoring of Electrical engineers,
• Guarantee the quality of the technical description for all Electrical spare parts, commissioning/start
up, capital and operational ensuring purchase requisition specification and relevant certification are
correct.
• Provide assistance to the MIE contractor Work Package leaders with regards to Electrical activities
issues.
