Produces and maintains documentation related to we application software (e.g. scope requirements, logical designs, and technical designs, testing plans).

Develop web application functionality related to major release schedules and reporting functionality related to client custom needs and requests Inform database design and structure based on knowledge of clinical/healthcare needs, client and operational reporting needs.

Must have hands on development and leading a team of developers and Mentoring junior team members.

Own responsibility for modules of the project assigned for development.

Promptly escalate issues, which affect product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence and report same to reporting manager.

Design and develop clinical web application use interfaces and develop both front-end pages and necessary backend JAVA classes to support data access and user authorization.

Develop dynamic rich user interfaces using JSP and HTMLJSF /JavaScript/jQuery/ JavaScript libraries/AJAX Working knowledge of UI Java Script based libraries for charting and reporting is a plus.

Troubleshoot and implement bug fixes related to client and user reported issues.

Skills

• 8+ yrs Experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of large web/portal application systems using Java/J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets, JDBC) of which at least 3 years in UT development.
• Performed Technical Architect role in past and having more than 3+yr experience( at least ) in architect role. Healthcare /Clinical Domain expertise is a huge advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Ajax and interactive web page architecture.
• Portal user interface development experience Good Experience in using Java-based design patterns and application frameworks such as ADF, Struts, Struts2, Spring, and/or Hibernate. Strong SQL skills and experience in working extensively with Oracle/DB2 and other relational databases.
• Experience on utilization of JVMs, clustering, load balancing, context based routings etc.
• Experience in working with multi tier architecture Architecture Principles / Decisions/Process /Deliverables Architecture Patterns/Solutioning/Strategies Ability ta lead entire Technical team by showing technical depths (Hands-on, practical knowledge).
• Must have Worked on different Application and Web Servers like Fusion Middleware, IBM Web Sphere, BEA Web Logic, Apache Tomcat and Jboss etc. Advanced Java Certifications is an added advantage.
• Participate in all related design and architecture discussions.
• Gather, document and analyse business requirements in order to help define scope of software development initiatives.
