Chief Human Resources Officer

We are looking for a driven and dynamic Chief HR Officer to join our team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will develop and execute the human resource strategy in support of the overall business plans, oversee the activities of the entire HR department, and will lead the strategic direction of the organization while promoting sustainable growth.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strengthen the company's mission and strategic vision by establishing and implementing effective HR efforts.
  • Develop, analyze and evaluate HR plans, strategies, policies, and procedures, to support the achievement of the overall organizational objectives.
  • Act as a strategic business advisor to the management team of each business unit by tackling key organizational and management issues.
  • Develop strategic recruiting and retention plans and lead the recruitment efforts to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.
  • Contribute to a healthy corporate culture that supports growth and equal opportunities.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive and competitive incentive plans that increase staff morale and productivity.
  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation and benefits globally.


Skills

  • MBA or MA/MS in human resources management, strategic management, or related field.
  • Ph.D is preferred.
  • 10+ years of HR experience, with at least five years of executive HR experience and at least five years of international HR experience.
  • SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations within the Kingdom.
  • Knowledge of and experience with varied HR information systems and software such as BambooHR, Greenhouse, and Crelate Talent.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
