Responsibilities:

1. Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
2. Analyze project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required materials.
3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for tender pricing.
4. Conduct site visits and evaluations to assess project requirements and potential cost factors.
5. Utilize specialized software and tools to assist in the estimation process and ensure accuracy.
6. Stay updated on industry trends, market prices, and regulatory requirements to inform pricing decisions.
7. Prepare and submit tender documents in accordance with project deadlines and specifications.
8. Participate in negotiations with clients and subcontractors to finalize pricing agreements.

Skills

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2. Proven experience in quantity surveying or tender pricing within construction companies, specifically in Kuwait.
3. In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and cost estimation techniques.
4. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for quantity surveying and cost estimation.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet tight deadlines.
8. Familiarity with Kuwaiti regulations and standards related to construction pricing and tendering processes.
