Job Brief

We are looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals working to maintain order and transparency for the company's finances.

Responsibilities:

- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.

- Assist in account reconciliations ( Cash , Liabilities , Fixed Assets , Payroll Accruals )    and supporting Sub - Ledgers.

- Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial   statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.

- Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.

- Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.

- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.

- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.

- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.

- Research and Resolve Account Reconciling items.

- Assist with other accounting projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

- 4 years Accounting or Business Related Degree Required.

- Minimum 3 years of work experience as a General Accountant.

- Background of Accounting in Construction Field is a Plus.

- Qualifications ( CMA - CFA ) is a plus but not required.

Skills:

- Great attention to detail and Planning and Prioritizing Skills.

- Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen.

- Excellent knowledge of MS Office , Specially with Microsoft Excel .

- Excellent with Report Generation & Commercial Auditing.

- Shall have good command over English Language.
