Basic Scope of Job:
Drive Managed Security Services (MSSP) sales, develop new business, manage key accounts, and grow recurring cybersecurity service revenue and profitability.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development:
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) solutions.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified cybersecurity opportunities.
- Conduct prospecting through customer visits, referrals, networking, events, tenders, and digital channels.
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and gross-margin targets.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through contract signing and customer handover.
- Drive recurring revenue and long-term managed security service contracts.
2. MSSP Solutions & Services: Promote and sell managed cybersecurity services, including:
- Managed SOC services.
- 24/7 security monitoring and incident detection.
- SIEM services and log management.
- Managed EDR/XDR services.
- Managed firewall and network security.
- Vulnerability management.
- Threat intelligence and threat monitoring.
- Incident response and security incident management.
- Managed email and cloud security.
- Security compliance and risk monitoring.
- Security awareness and training services.
- Managed backup and disaster recovery security services.
- Security assessments and penetration testing.
- Security consulting and professional services
3. Customer Requirement & Solution Development:
- Meet customers to understand their cybersecurity challenges, risks, compliance requirements, and existing security infrastructure.
- Identify gaps in the customer’s current security environment.
- Work with presales engineers, SOC teams, security architects, and vendors to develop appropriate MSSP solutions.
- Prepare service proposals, solution presentations, Statements of Work (SOWs), RFP/RFQ responses, and quotations.
- Coordinate technical workshops, demonstrations, assessments, and proof-of-concept activities.
4. Account Management:
- Establish relationships with CISOs, CIOs, IT Managers, Security Managers, Risk Managers, and Procurement teams.
- Manage existing MSSP accounts and identify opportunities for renewals, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and coordinate with service delivery teams to address commercial or service-related issues.
- Drive long-term managed-services contracts, contract renewals, and recurring revenue.
- Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the service lifecycle.
5. Commercial Responsibilities:
- Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals within approved pricing and margin guidelines.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity vendors, technology partners, and distributors.
- Negotiate contract terms, service scope, pricing, SLAs, and renewal conditions.
- Track proposals, purchase orders, contracts, renewals, and payments.
- Ensure MSSP opportunities meet required profitability and business objectives.
6. Services Handover & Delivery Coordination:
- Coordinate the handover of won opportunities from Sales to SOC, Security Operations, Project Management, and Service Delivery teams.
- Ensure the agreed scope, SLAs, service requirements, and customer expectations are clearly documented.
- Participate in customer kick-off meetings where required.
- Coordinate with service delivery teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
Skills
Education & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, IT, Computer Science, Business, Cybersecurity or a related field.
Education & Qualification:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Kuwait market.
- Proven experience in MSSP, SOC, cybersecurity, managed services, or IT solution sales.
Special Skills:
- Strong understanding of SIEM, SOC, EDR/XDR, MDR, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and incident response.
- Good understanding of recurring-revenue and managed-services business models.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with CISOs, CIOs, IT/security teams, procurement, and other senior stakeholders.
